It’s based on a poster for the ICAIC Decimo Aniversario. The ICAIC is the Instituto Cubano del Arte e Industria Cinematograficos which is essentially the Cuban film institute. This poster was designed by Alfredo Rostgaard for their 10th Anniversary. It symbolizes the revolutionary power of film. Aren’t you glad you asked?
I have plans for many more tattoos, some film related, some based on Soviet Prison tattoos. (Don’t Ask.) I’ll post those here as I continue paint my skin.
