February 19, 2004Don't Run RalphHere's an interesting Flash that points out how Nader cost Gore the election, and asks him not to run. Ralph does stand for a lot of good things, but as his last campaign showed: 1. He can't even come close to winning. 2. He can draw enough liberal Democrat votes to swing a close election. You might not agree entirely with whoever gets the democratic nomination, however, ask yourself this: do you agree with them more than you agree with Bush? Because a vote cast in protest in this election is a vote cast for Bush. Posted at February 19, 2004 11:44 AMComments
the first week of february, i heard melissa block interview nader on npr about his potential joining in the race. i very much wish for a day when we leave this rich boys club of a two party system we have. however, when nader responded to people who have publically asked him not to run by charging them with censorship... i realize he's got too many screws loose for my comfort. ("It's a marvelous demonstration by liberals, if you will, of censorship...") i love how block tries to call him on this lunacy, but he just goes on. (See http://www.npr.org/features/feature.php?wfId=1643435 for the piece.) Posted by: amy at February 24, 2004 01:58 PMPost a comment
